The Kennedy Range and the National Park with the same name is some 150 kilometres East of Carnarvon. It is close to the Gascoyne River and the Lyons River. From Gascoyne Junction, where the two rivers meet, the Kennedy Range extends to over 150 kilometres to the North. Only a small part is accessible. There is evidence of Aboriginal presence, going as far back as 20000 years and European explorers came to the area some 150 years ago. Moreover it is a place of stunning natural beauty without crowds!
