Gawler Ranges - Mount Ive Station
Mount Ive Station is located in the Northern Gawler Ranges. It is a working sheep property that offers accomodation for travellers as well. The scenery is fantastic. Mount Ive border Lake Gairdner, the second largest salt lake in Australia. You can stay in the caravan park, shearer's quarters as well in stone hut accomodation. All very good value ... staff is very helpful and you get piles of mud maps to give you access to all the sites on the property. Not to be missed are Lake Gairdner, Mount Ive and the Embankment ... as well as a lot of other things we did not get to because of rain coming in ...
