Otago Peninsula

On the most Eastern tip of the Otago Peninsula, at Taiaroa Head, there is a huge Albatross colony. The Northern Royal Albatross is the largest seabird in the world. It can have a wingspan of 3 meters. A lot of seals live on the peninsula. Some of them really like to be photographed. And then of course there is the famous Yellow Eyed Penguin colony, which can be seen from a very short distance.
