The first time we came here was in 1995, and we were flabbergasted by the beauty and wildness of the place. So it has always been high on our list of places we wanted to visit again, here in Australia. In June 2006 we had the opportunity to do so. This little part of our website is a photographic report of a place that continues to amaze. At Hamersley Gorge, there are no camping facilities. Access to the Gorge is either from the East via Tom Price, or from the West, from Rouburne through the Rio Tinto Gorge (also a must see in this area!).
