BORERAY, ST KILDA

Boreray (Boraraigh in Scottish Gaelic) is an uninhabited island in the St Kilda archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean on the western edge of Scotland. It covers about 77 hectares and reaches a height of 384 metres. Boreray's cliffs and stacks (Stac Lee and Stac an Armin) are home for many seabirds, including largest Northern Gannet (morus bassanus) colonies worldwide.
