The Shark Bay World Heritage Area is a diverse area. It is located at the most Western point of Western Australia (and Australia itself). Francois Peron National Park (coastal Outback) is part of the area, as are Shark Bay Marine Park, Hamelin Pool Marine Natures Reserve (stromatolites), and well-known Monkey Mia Reserve (dolphins).
