The Golden Circle is a popular tourist route in southern Iceland. The three highlight long the route are the Geysir Hot Spring Area with the very active geyser Strokkur, Gullfoss (golden waterfall) and Þingvellir National Park. Don't expect to be on your own at either of these attractions. Despite the huge number of people around Strokkur, it was sensational and great fun!
