Welcome the the Blue Gum Pictures image library.

Our image library features the work of Machteld Baljet and Marcel Hoevenaars and is specialised in images of nature, landscapes and wildlife.

We started our website in the late 90s as a website exhibiting slides from our world travels. After we moved to Australia in 1999 it grew into an image library specialised in Australian nature, landscapes and wildlife, supplemented with images from other beautiful places in the world.

The main objective of the image library is showing people around the world how beautiful nature is and how important it is to conserve it.

Early 2017 our revamped website went live! Apart from a more modern look, it is easier now for us to add new collections to the website. We are now in the process of converting old collections and adding many new collections of the images we took between 2010 and 2017. Please bear with us, there is much more to come!

All images on our website are copyrighted by us with all rights reserved. Please do not use our images without our permission. Most of the images on the site are available for licensing. In general this incurs a fee. Please contact us for more details or a quote.
